What does the phlebotomy course include?

The program includes textbooks, all lab supplies and phlebotomy kit, NHA exam preparation, a 2-week supervised clinical externship, and post-graduation career support. Topics covered include venipuncture, capillary collection, anatomy, medical terminology, lab safety, and HIPAA compliance.

How long is the phlebotomy course?

Both programs are 7 weeks long. The Weekday Program meets Tuesday & Thursday. The Weekend Program meets every Saturday. A 2-week clinical externship follows the classroom portion.

Is the course NHA approved?

Yes. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam. Premier Health Academy is licensed by the NJ Department of Education.

What is the class size?

Classes are limited to 12 students per cohort to ensure every student gets sufficient hands-on practice and one-on-one instructor attention.
