Exactly What You'll Master
in 7 Weeks
Our curriculum meets both NHA and NCCT examination standards. Every topic is taught by certified phlebotomists with hospital experience.
Venipuncture Technique
Antecubital, hand & pediatric draws. Needle selection, angle, anchoring — mastered through 14+ supervised live draws.
Weeks 1–3Capillary Puncture
Fingerstick & heel stick collection. Lancet technique, microcontainers, capillary tubes — POCT-ready skills.
Week 2Order of Draw
Master the correct tube sequence to prevent cross-contamination: Yellow → Blue → Red → Green → Lavender → Gray.
Week 2Specimen Processing
Centrifugation, labeling, chain of custody, specimen rejection criteria, and cold-chain handling.
Weeks 3–4HIPAA & Lab Safety
Patient confidentiality, PHI protection, biohazard protocols, sharps disposal, and PPE compliance — OSHA standards.
Week 4NHA & NCCT Exam Prep
Practice exams, terminology drills, anatomy review, and full mock certification test — specific to both NHA-CPT and NCCT-NPT formats.
